| <b>Born:</b> December 1963 <b>Occupation:</b> Disabled (both Mental & Physical) <center><b>Artist Statement:</b> </center> <b>Life with multiple disabilities is often very complicated, even in the simplist things. I have tried repeatedly to rebuild my life since my accident, but as you all well know, it is a rough world out there. Even the toughest and smartest have to face it, for someone like me it is a confusing mess.</b> <b>I create these artworks as a way to keep my mind off the constant pain and the depression. I begin with a picture, twisting & warping it, layer after layer until I have something I like. Often times I create multiple versions though it is rare to find two that I really like. </b> <b>I call my creations Chaotic Orders and it is my hope that enough people will like them that I can afford things like a new bed. What I get for SSI is very little and barely pays the bills.</b> <b>Goal:</b> It is my hope that despite my disabilities, I can contribute once again to society. <b>Favorite Quote:</b> "A nation as a society forms a moral person, and every member of it is personally responsible for his society" Thomas Jefferson |
